BWV Garden vs. Boardwalk view

I totally get why someone would request a boardwalk view. Why, when the points are the same, would someone pick garden view? Is it worth the extra points for a garden view instead of a standard view?

most of the time it is a lagoon view - the lagoon going to studios. most it is a swimming pool view - the main pool has about half the garden/water views.

most of what you would consider garden view is standard view - the front of the resort and the side.

Pool/Garden can be Village Green, which is a partial BW view but closer to elevators than BW view (studios only). Some like a view of the pool, even a first floor pool view so they can walk right out to the pool. Some like the quiet pool view for a more laid-back feeling. The view of the canal is quite lovely and some rooms can see a little of Fantasmic. I personally like BW view best but to each his/her own.

I'm a person who might consider it. I don't know if DH would allow it but then again I don't think he'd protest too much. After our last stay on the Boardwalk when I was woke up late at night by loud groups leaving Jellyrolls coupled with the very early morning noise every morning from cleaning carts on the boardwalk I was looking at those beautiful, quiet rooms around the quiet pool with a bit of envy.

Bingo, its what's left.

Very few people book garden view by preference. Most people book the "bargain" standard view or the guarantee of the nice BWV. But each of those types is only 20% of the resort. Eventually, the only rooms left (and sometimes - like during F&W - eventually is at ten months out) are garden view.
