We are thinking of staying at BWV for our next trip. I heard there are no counter service options. If you are spending the day at the pool, what are your lunch options?
The main pool has a snack bar/pool bar that serves a few sandwich/wrap options including some kids sandwiches. Also non-alcoholic drinks like smoothies.
Another lunch option is to have some things in your room fridge and take a quick break to make a sandwich or other item.
Or send someone to Kouzzina on the Boardwalk for slices of pizza.
BW bakery has decent sandwich options. Their veggie sandwich (mozz and basil I think) is amazing! But they have roast beef and blue cheese, and turkey as well I think.
IMO BWV and BCV have poor CS options but very good snack and drink options, esp BWV. The bakery will give you a new cup each time for a refill rather than getting your mug dirty or having to carry it around. And their danish and muffins are terrific. But certainly compared to say WP express or Pepper market, the CS meals themselves are pretty limited.
The BWV/BCV area is very limited for counter service for those with special diet needs. Grabbing a quick bite (not in room) for us when staying at BWV typically means we go into Epcot or off site.
DD can't have gluten & I have a litany of allergies which, on a perfect day, I can cautiously cross the line on. What the area needs is something like Mara.
