BWV Community Hall?

We're new members at BCV. I keep hearing about Community Hall at the BWV. Is this only for DVCers staying at BWV or for all BW guests?

I REALLY don't want to start a flame war but....when we stay at BCV can we use BWV Community Hall? I haven't read about any similar facility at BCV - has anyone else?

The community Hall at BWV is for all guests. DVC members have the advantage of not having to pay for any of the activities, games, nor do they have to pay for the video rentals. I am not aware of a community hall at BCV. However they probably are set up like VWL where you can get videos at the 'trading post' or general store, and rentals are probably free for DVC members as they are at VWL.

DVCDave - did you say "free games?". You don't mean free arcade games, do you?

Ping-Pong, Fossball (sp), and Nintendo. Are these arcade games ? I don't know, but I guess they are. They also have arts and crafts for the kids.

The BWV Community Hall is the best ! Our kids LOVE it! It has foosball, N-64 games, one or two arcade games, ping pong and we just got an air hockey table. It also has a TV, VCR, computer, board games, and some little blocks,other small toys and some arts and crafts. I don't think BCV or VWL have a Community hall. OKW has one, but it's more appealing for very young children.
I believe BWV Community Hall is for ALL BWV guests. I am not sure about DVC'ers staying at other DVC resorts and using BWV, (you certainly can ask )

The services provided by Community Hall are available to guests staying at either the BWI or the BWV.

I do not know if the Community Hall is meant for others, but the only times I have been asked for a resort ID was for checking out videos and life jackets / pool noodles. It's never been crowded when I've stopped by.

We've stayed at BW before and go over there quite a bit. We now own at BWV (soon to be two contracts) but have never visited community hall. Where exactly is it?

The Community Hall is next to the quiet pool. Facing Luna Park, you would have to walk toward the canal and around the building to the left. It will be in front of you, with the pool to the left.

There is an arcade in the beach club. Movies will probably be handled similar to how they are handled at WLV , I think they are handled out of the general store. BCV seems like it will have it's own sitting area like WLV does. There seems to be two areas on the BCV map, I'm not sure what both of them are, the Breezeway and the Drawing room?
