BWV Buses -- Do they still share with Yacht Club and Beach Club in the morning?

I will be at BWV for 6 nights starting next week. I know that the Swolphin doesn't share any longer, but does each Epcot resort get it's own bus going to the parks now that there is reduced capacity on the buses? We are planning for rope drop (now that park capacity is up :crazy2:) and I will have a scooter because of my arthritic knee. IIRC, Boardwalk used to be the last stop on the way to the parks and I don't want to keep on getting bumped by existing passengers on the way to the MK or AK.

When we were there in April, BWV had its own bus. We weren't doing rope drop, but I'd assume it was that way all day.. Even not doing rope drop we had to wait for a second bus before we could get on one of the days as there were so many going to MK that day.

I wonder if it has changed now that they're filling every seat?

We were there May 5-13, and the Boardwalk busses were not sharing with any other resorts. We also didn't go early for rope drop, but shortly after the park opening there were quite a few people waiting for busses. That said, we always got on a bus. We never had to wait for another bus all week to or from MK or AK. Some of the bus drivers assigned seats, while others let you pick your section to sit in.

Thanks everyone. That makes me feel better.

We have a rental car but it’s super expensive and I think I’ll be fine with the busses as long as I don’t have to wait for too many of them. I just realized the car would only be good for grocery shopping and driving to animal kingdom. We won’t eat off site this time because I don’t want to be jammed in a restaurant like a pre-Covid sardine.

Well.... that's actually a rather different question from "are they sharing buses." While resorts are not sharing buses, the buses do seem to be less frequent. On our stay in March, we typically had around a 30-50 minute wait for each bus, and checking the app was no help--the wait times kept getting pushed out later than what was originally posted. At least with Boardwalk, you only need buses for two parks, but bus transportation is really slow these days. I suspect it's a staffing issue.

The question is related.

One problem I've read about is people with mobility devices who are staying at resorts with multiple bus stops have had to wait for multiple buses with room on them. The drivers are seating people in the mobility area and not asking them to move or there is already a person with a mobility device seated there so the person needs to wait for up to an hour. There is only one bus stop at Boardwalk so if they are not sharing with other resorts, I am not competing with people from the Y&BC for that one spot on the bus. If I get in line in the morning, I should be on the first bus or second bus out depending on how many mobility devices there are in front of me. I used a scooter on my last trip and things worked fine for me as long as I was patient.

But yeah, I'll be "scooting" to DHS and Epcot which will be easier.

People from Swan/Dolphin have been walking over for the BWV bus to go straight to MK. I’ve seen it posted several times.

I completely agree with you. We were there May 5-13, and although we always got on the bus when it arrived, we did have to wait a long time for the busses to and from MK and AK. Once, we actually took the bus from AK to Beach/Yacht and walked back to Boardwalk because we had already waited 30 minutes for our bus and they had 2 in that time.
