We have a 2-bedroom at BWV and was wondering if any knew what room area should be ask for so we can be near the main pool and closest to the elevators.
Traveling with 3 kids and grandparents that some walking issues.

If you have the BW view at BWV, then you won't be very close to the elevators. If you are close to the elevator you'd have a pool/garden view or standard view.

All the boardwalk rooms that sit over the General Store and Thimbles and Threads (both are really the same store) would be the closest to getting to the pool via the elevator; they are the boardwalk rooms nearest to the elevator that goes right to the pool although they are still some walk away. That area has all the GVs and some dedicated studios and 1BRs but there are a couple of 2BRs on the second floor.

Some of the rooms are a long distance. I just got back and almost fell over when I got the text with our room # - 3001, the last room next to The Attic/Jellyrolls.

The BW view room #s closest to the elevator have the last 2 digits closer to 51 (rooms xx51 are the closest BW view rooms to the elevator but they are actually just around the corner from the BW). Rooms closer to xx01 are farthest away. If you get a room farther away you can console yourself that you will have a great view of Illuminations. Have you ever stayed at Kidani? The BW halls are short compared to Kidani! I put on so many miles walking around the parks that hallways don't bother me at all, especially when they are air conditioned and the weather is hot.
