Hi

I was wondering if any seasoned BWV guests could recommend activities/ dining for our 2 days at BWV before our cruise.

Basically we are arriving Thurs afternoon and are not planning to visit a park that day so we will be looking for things to do and a good place to eat. Friday we will park hop. Saturday- quick breakfast and then off to the ship. We will not be getting the dining plan. TIA :goodvibes

Hard to beat the Flying Fish, right there at Boardwalk, if you are looking for somewhere kind of nice. Shula's Steak House at the Swan or Dolphin (right next door) is supposed to be good (and pricey), if you like steak.

My wife and I ate at Bistro d' Paris in EPCOT some time back and really liked it, but that's a real money pit as well. Just depends on what you want to spend. All the EPCOT restaurants can be fun.

Thursday I would suggest dinner @ Bluezoo(Dolphin) or Il Mulino(Swan). Jellyrolls(dueling piano bar) is a fun option after dinner. Friday, make EPCOT your last park. 5-10 minute walk back to Boardwalk thru International Gateway, after Illuminations. Kouzzina has a great breakfast, if you have time Sat morning.

Thank you for your suggestions. We are definitely looking forward to the 10 minute walk from Epcot. We stayed at BLT last year and loved the location because we could walk back from the Magic Kingdom.

We were not really planning to spend much time/ money dining at WDW this time since we will only be there for 2 days before the cruise. Our kids will want to spend as much time as possible at the pools/parks. We will probably only be eating lightly.

We have never eaten at any of those restaurants however I have read excellent reviews. Maybe I will have to look at their menus to see if there are lighter/smaller options.

ESPN, Dolphin Cabana Bar, Dolphin Fountain, or Beaches & Cream, may be better options, though Il Mulino has good pizza. Have fun!!

We had two days last month before our Magic cruise. We laid low and didn't even do any parks. Being DVC Members, what we don't do this vacation, we can do the next. Taking it easy made before the cruise made it that much more enjoyable.
