BWV at Thanksgiving from 9-mos out?

We will be closing on our BWV resale soon and will then be able to book our first DVC vacation We stayed at WL from Thanksgiving through the following WED last year, and would like to shoot for the same week again this year...Do you think we will have problems getting a Standard Studio for that time at BWV if we book in mid-FEB (9 months out)??

We're also going to head down for 2 wks this JUN...ideally, we'd like to stay in a studio at BCV for a week, and in a 1-BR at OKW for a week....I've gotten the impression that BCV is a pipe-dream at only 4 months out....How about BWV preferred view studio?

Any thoughts?

I have a standard 2BR at the BWV reserved for next Thanksgiving. I called day by day. My sister called at the end of the week for a standard studio and wasn't able to get it. She is now wait listed for Thanksgiving night. At 9 months it will be difficult for you.

From what I hear the preffered view rooms actually go last because of the points at the BWV. Getting a room 9 months out more than likely will not be an issue......7 months in the flood gates open. Also if you really want to stay at the BCV and there full book at the BWV and get on a day by day waiting list for the BCV.

I don't think you will be able to get a standard view, but you should not have a problem getting a preferred view a tthe 9 month mark

IMHO, you have a good chance of getting your SV via the waitlist, though. Waitlist by individaul days for the best chance. Thanksgiving and the Sunday, Monday and Tuesday nights after will be the challenge. The Friday and Saturday nights are probably still available for SV.

BWV have more rooms available, I believe 2 to 1 verses the BCV. I'd book the BWV and go on the wait list for the BCV, day by day.
