BWV...anyone just back...outdoor movies

I read some time ago about movies being shown outdoors, by the main pool in the evenings. Has anyone been there recently and can tell me if they are still doing it? I think it would be a great downtime activity one evening. Thanks!

no movies being shown during President's week - but that was back in Feb.

Thanks for the reply! I won't expect to see anything set up then. Maybe they were just "testing" the idea when someone reported on it earlier. Thanks again!

I think it only starts in the summer and for only fri or sat night?

They were doing it last December so it's not just for the summer.

When we were at BWV last December, they were showing movies at the pool every Monday evening. But they told us if the air temperature goes below 50 degrees, they have to cancel it. It was really fun! You can either watch from in or around the pool and they were serving free popcorn and cotton candy.

Thanks for the replies. I'm just going to go without any expectations of seeing the movies by the pool. If they are playing, great and if not, that's okay too. I was just curious.

I have never even heard of this. We were at the BWV last October, and there were no movies. That would be totally cool! I'd love it if they were doing it this October.

I believe that was just a test run for a limited time.

Just back from BWV 4/19 - 4/23 and didn't see/hear anything about movies except one night in the Community Room
