Well, I decided to take the plunge again. I just booked at BWV from 6/25 - 6/30. My home resort is VWL, but I've also stayed at OKW. Never really thought about staying at BWV, but it kind of slipped out when I was booking (I meant to say Beach Club, but it had been a rough day at work). So, the had availablility and I figured why not.

My experience with BW is nil other than the great piece of chocolate cake I got from the bakery one day. Any feedback? I'm just a little nervous. I guess that I could try to change to VWL, but I keep telling myself that different is good.

Thanks in advance for the help!

We own at BWV and love it!! The location to Epcot & MGM, the action on the BW at nights, it gives you a feeling of being in the middle of it all. We love being in the Epcot area so much that we can't bring ourselves to stay anywhere else except BCV.

We stayed in a studio for our honeymoon and loved it. My husband has been looking into DVC and keeps looking at Boardwalk lol

I love the Boardwalk Villas. The rooms are great, and the views can be gorgious! I even had a decent view from my standard room--I overlooked the main entrance, and it was actually quiet pleasant.

I love that you can walk to MGM and Epcot. And it's great to have so many dining options within walking distance. And of course, Jellyrolls is there too--it's nice to just walk back to the room after a night of singing there.

Stick with the Boardwalk. Give it a try, and have fun!

Staying at BWV is just like a big yummy piece of chocolate cake for me!!! I love everything about it. It's my home resort. I love the ease of getting to both Epcot and MGM. I love the hustle and bustle on the boardwalk at night. I love watching the boats come and go. I love all the different restuarant choices right there. I love the easy stroll to S/D or YC/BC for their restuarant choices.
Yep, I love everything about BWV!!

I just stayed their beginning of Dec my first visit to DVC one bedroom. OUr room was great we had a view of the main pool. It is great walking to MGM and Epcot. My dds loved it also and didnt complain about the walk. They are 5 & 8. It was a long walk to the room but it didn't bother me we had longer walks at POR to get to the room. Everyone was soooo polite and loved to talk to the girls. Never waited longer than 15 min for a bus. The one bedroom was plenty big for 4 people. (My mom came with us). It was a great time. The magic is what you make of it!!!

Not much more for me to add except I've stayed there 2xs in the past few months and have 2 more stays coming in the next few months - I own at OKW and only stayed there 1x (but loved it also)!!!

You'll have a great time!!!
