BWV and RIV with ECV

Hi all -

We’ll be traveling next summer with my parents, and my mom requires an ECV. When we stay at the Swan and Dolphin, because she only needs the scooter for longer distances, they request that we leave it in the lobby with bell services vs taking it up to the room.

For DVC stays, would I need to request an accessible room or would all standard rooms accommodate an ECV through the entry door? For reference we’re doing a split stay RIV and BWV.

The ECV will fit though the door of any DVC villa, but someone will have to hold the door open!

We own at Riviera and use an ECV on every trip, can confirm they do fit inside rooms and you’re allowed to take them in!
