I hope to stay in a 2BR at BWV with a view of the Boardwalk. Does such a room exist? We have only stayed in a 1BR in the past. One had a perfect view of the Boardwalk and the other had not such a great view of the courtyard. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

We were in 4003/4005 this past May. Very nice view of the Boardwalk.

You can request a Boardwalk view, but it's not guaranteed by any means. Only about 20% of all the rooms at the BWV have a Boardwalk view, not sure what the breakdown is of studios, 1 bedrooms and 2 bedrooms (all the GVs have it, I think).

All you can do is ask, just prepare yourself to NOT get it and then you'll be pleasantly surprised if you do!

Had a 2BR on the boardwalk-2nd floor above the store last summer. I would take that room everytime if I could. Just awsome to see Epcot and the BW-a higher floor would be a better view but the balcony on the 2nd floor was as wide as the 2BR by about 10 feet out (10 by 36 feet?) and you could watch all the folks stroll by, the juggler, yell at the kids etc. Good Luck-by the way we reserved "BW view" at 3 months out.

We had a 2-BR above the bar/restaurant last year, and had a great view of Spaceship Earth and fireworks. We requested BW view and upper floor on our reservations (made 11 months in advance).

I also have gotten very lucky with boardwalk views on the 2nd floor because it is a smoking floor and a lot of people flatly refuse these rooms. I love them, they never smell like smoke to me and as someone else posted they have the largest balconys with a substantial amount more room, have a wonderful view of the boardwalk, the lake, Epcot, are not far from the stairs or elevator, etc. At night sitting on these balconies with a glass of wine watching the boardwalk all lit up with the juggler and piano player performing, the people walking by, Epcot lit up in the distance and the french doors open to your beautiful DVC villa behind you that is your home for the trip; it is what makes me think, "Ahhh this is the life, this makes it all worth while!".

I never thought about the 2nd floor. We don't smoke so I always ask for non-smoking but if the rooms really don't smell, who cares. Thanks for all the input.

2BR's boardwalk view: all two bedrooms with a boardwalk view are clustered over the Big River Grille and the DVC store; all have very good view of Spaceship earth and upper level Illuminations fireworks.
