Hubby is making reservations for our June 2018 trip. We're looking at Best Western Park Place Inn or Best Western Raffles.
We are a family of 6. At trip time, the kids' ages will be 10, 8, 3 1/2, and 20 months.
We've stayed at Raffles before and were happy, love the big rooms. Looking at a room with a queen bed in the main room, and a separate bedroom with bunk beds and a sofabed. The con here is the distance - we have taken the Toy Story shuttle and that works fine unless the littles are sleeping in the stroller, in which case we just walk the whole way back. This trip may be harder for the 10 & 8 yr olds though, because last time they were able to take turns sitting in the Sit N Stand stroller, which won't be an option this time.
For BWPPI, the room is a mini-suite, with 2 queen beds and a sofabed. Much smaller space compared to the 2 room suite at Raffles, but SO much closer to the park, and only $60 more total.
I can't decide whether it would be better to be closer with less space, or have so much more space at Raffles but the longer walk.
Will the new gateway pedestrian bridge be completed by then, making the BWPPI not an advantage distance-wise? I haven't kept up on any developments with that, as far as Harbor hotels being able to allow guest access to the pedestrian bridge.
What would you do? Thanks in advance!
