BWPPI or Raffles? Which would you pick?

Hubby is making reservations for our June 2018 trip. We're looking at Best Western Park Place Inn or Best Western Raffles.

We are a family of 6. At trip time, the kids' ages will be 10, 8, 3 1/2, and 20 months.

We've stayed at Raffles before and were happy, love the big rooms. Looking at a room with a queen bed in the main room, and a separate bedroom with bunk beds and a sofabed. The con here is the distance - we have taken the Toy Story shuttle and that works fine unless the littles are sleeping in the stroller, in which case we just walk the whole way back. This trip may be harder for the 10 & 8 yr olds though, because last time they were able to take turns sitting in the Sit N Stand stroller, which won't be an option this time.

For BWPPI, the room is a mini-suite, with 2 queen beds and a sofabed. Much smaller space compared to the 2 room suite at Raffles, but SO much closer to the park, and only $60 more total.

I can't decide whether it would be better to be closer with less space, or have so much more space at Raffles but the longer walk.

Will the new gateway pedestrian bridge be completed by then, making the BWPPI not an advantage distance-wise? I haven't kept up on any developments with that, as far as Harbor hotels being able to allow guest access to the pedestrian bridge.

What would you do? Thanks in advance!

I think I would go with Raffles. You have stayed there before and much more space. I do not know if the bridge will be ready. I think if it was me and my family more space. Your kids - age 8 and 10 should be ok with walking. I think your little ones will like more space in the room.

Personally I would stay at Raffles also like joseph821 has said. I have also stayed in the kids Suite at the Raffles and it is very spacious and with a family your size you really do need the space so, the kids don't make you crazy. You know the usual she/he's touching me and in my personals space scenario that you deal with. We have learned with our three kids we need more room with them. It makes our vacation a funner time when the kids aren't so cramped up and getting on each others nerves.

I would stay at Raffles. We're a family of 5 that frequently take another with us, so we know about 6 people in a room. BWPPI is great location-wise, but the rooms are just too small. The larger suite will be nice for you. And the walk is not that bad.

Thanks, all! I must admit I'm a little surprised that everyone said Raffles - I thought BWPPI was a top choice here, haha. But I do agree that the space may be much more beneficial than proximity, with the size and ages of our family! My boys will appreciate the bunk beds, too.

Thanks for the input :)
