BWPPI or PPH

We have 3 kids with us so want to be close. I think I've read that PPH is kinda far??? It's about $234 difference to do a package at PPH and get a character meal and all the perks as opposed to doing it individually at BWPPI so that's a deal. What do you suggest? Never stayed on site before, ohhhhh But I just wanna know about the distance. Thanks!!

According to my book (Unofficial Guide to Disneyland) the distance to the front gate at DL from :

BWPPI = 5 min 45 sec
PPH = 14:00 min

I have never stayed at either hotel, but next month we are staying at BWPPI.

Thanks so much!! Wow, that's a big difference. We've stayed at BWPPI 2 now and I love the location!!! That extra almost 10 minutes is alot after walking all day/night and for our LO's. I wonder if that's with the cutting through the Grand shortcut?

Have you tried expedia, orbitz, travelocity, etc and looked at getting a "package" I have found these can be MUCH cheaper then booking seperately...but be sure to double check because sometimes they cost MORE. You can also look at Disneyland.com, costco.com, ares.com and others.

PPH is the farthest, definitely. It's thru DTD, thru the GCH, across the street to the PPH. It's a great hotel but if want close go with BWPPI.

Maybe it's just me but every morning it took my mom and I no more than 7 minutes to get from PPH to the main entrance of the parks. But then again we were hauling butt! We would just walk right through the GCH and then DTD. Or sometimes we would go to DCA first and use the DLR guest entrance in the hotel. At night when we had to literally drag ourselves to the room it took us about 15 minutes, and boy did we drraaggg ourselves Just my input. Either way you choose I hope you have a wonderful time!
