BWPPI food question

Does anyone have recent experience as to what is served at the free breakfast? Will I be able to go pick up breakfast and bring it back to my family in the room, or will we all need to be present?

When we were there in July they had cereal, fruit, pastries, breads, eggs and a meat option along with drinks. It was decent and was included with the room. I don't know if you could take back with you as there were no trays that I saw. They do ask for your room number when you go up stairs before going in, so not sure if all need to be present or not as we all went together.

Best western park place inn.

We were there a few months ago. They had typical continental breakfast items. The hot stuff wasn't great, but they had fruits and bagels. It can get chaotic in there, so I would go pick up food for the family. We ate in the room which was much more relaxing.

We'll be staying there over Easter. Is there disabled access to the breakfast room? I noticed a prior poster mention that it was upstairs. I can't do stairs, so I am wondering...

My bad Figment! I actually stayed at the Best Western Plus Anaheim Inn a few doors down. They are somehow connected reservation wise! The breakfast at BWPPI is upstairs above captain kids and the BWPAI has the breakfast on the third floor. (Which is accessible from an elevator FYI) Our reservations were originally for BWPPI where we had stayed before. We were moved for whatever reason to the other Best Western. The rooms were similar (we had three adjoining rooms) on the third floor. Nice views of the fireworks. IMO it was a little better and quieter. I like both ALOT for the proximity to the park.

With both being Best Westerns it is easy to get them mixed up, isn't it? The first couple times we were looking for the PPI I had to remind myself to make sure it was Park Place Inn and not a different Best Western. Anyway, glad to know we will still be able to bring food to our room. It sure makes getting ready in the morning easier since some in our group take longer to get ready than others so the speedy ones go over to pick up breakfast.

When I stayed there was a sign saying that food couldn't leave the upstairs area, but the room wasn't staffed at all, so no one checked. There is a chance you could be stopped if they actually have someone there. It might also depend when you're taking. A couple of bagels vs. 3 plates made up with a full breakfast makes a difference.

Pretty sure they'd rather have just me than me, cranky hubs (not a morning person), feisty 2yo, and wiggly 6mo old!
