Any one ever stay in a standard room at the BWI with a water view. Travel agent said water view either means pool view or boardwalk view. Any suggestions as to what would be nicer so we could request it.

We had a waterview room last month at BWI... we faced the boardwalk. We loved our room because it had an extra large balcony over looking the the boardwalk area. It was the balcony directly above the "Spoodles" sign... if you look at the building, it seems to be 2 or 3 times the size of any of the other balconies. Wish I could remember the room number for you.

We stayed at the BWI in a waterview room in Jan. 2001. We faced the Boardwalk. We were on the 5th floor close to where the boat to MGM and Epcot, loads and unloads. Very nice room.

If you are going to be on the BWI side there is no view of the main pool from that side if my memory serves me well. There is a view of the quiet pool but that would be considered a garden view room. I would think that a water view room on the BWI side of the resort could only face the boardwalk and the main lagoon with the YC/BC across the way.

We stayed in water view room 5269. It was on the side on the Inn that faces the villas and lobby rose garden (the enterance to the BW). We could see everything from the boat launch over on the villa side. We liked this location. This room had the smaller, two person balcony.
