BWI Security and Disney Pins

I know that MCO allows Disney Pins in carry ons, but has anyone taken them thru security at BWI and had a problem?

We are flying next week and I hate to pack the pins in our suitcase and have to wait until Magical Express delivers our suitcases to our room. I am just afraid of having them taken away!

It has nothing to do with the airport; pins are allowed in carry-on luggage.

And we've taken ours through security at BWI more than once - no issues.

Never, ever, ever, ever, never pack your pins in your checked luggage. They are know for vanishing for some strange reason.Ebay maybe?

A great tip I got here is to put them into a plastic ziplock baggie. That way, the TSA agent can just grab them and look if they so choose (which I have never had happen) and if you loose a back you don't loose the pin.
