Hi. I just received my reservation confirmation and the wording on room request is not quite what I asked for. Have stayed BWI once and read lots of posts and decided to request "non-smoking, upper floor, Epcot view".... on my confirmation it says "non-smoking, 5th floor".

Does anyone know are all 5th floor standard view rooms facing Epcot? Do any of them face the front driveway? Trying to decide if I should call and ask to have this wording changed.

Any info appreciated. Thanks.:D

There are 5th floor rooms facing the driveway. The rooms on the other side of the hall would face Epcot. I would call back and ask them to change the wording, put facing Epcot before the floor. I would also send a fax 4 or 5 days before you go to make sure the front desk has your request.

We stayed there for 1 night last December before we moved to BWV for our DVC reservation. I figured it was 1 night so I just requested non-smoking. Big Mistake. We were on the second floor facing the walkway to the bus stop, people were always walking by and talking. Glad it was just 1 night. Other than that, the room was beautiful, we love the Boardwalk. I'm thinking of a trip in October, I want to stay there again maybe in a water view.

We just stayed at BWI two weeks ago for our honeymoon. We were on the 5th floor but the first room we were in did not have a view of Epcot and it did not have a balcony. I went down and asked for a room with a balcony. The CM was wonderful. He moved us into a great room- king size bed, view of EPCOT (France). It was the first time I have ever asked to change rooms- but I am glad that I did. I am pretty sure he upgraded us for free since we were there on our honeymoon.

Thanks for the advice, I decided to call rather than stew about it. The helpful CM read back to me the room preferences as they were listed in the computer and they were just how I'd asked. She said she'd send me a corrected confirmation and she gave me the 2004 room rate also. In addition just to confirm another's posted info, she did say AAA discounts will be available on Monday June 16!

:D
