I didnt realize with the AP rate that BWI would be decent in price! Its right in between Poly and CR. 2 nights at CR is $517, BWI is $540 and CR is $571. I have 4 kids (10, 8, 6 and 3) and these will be resort days.. we will be 9 days free dining right before this. This is just a treat to stay in a deluxe. I have never really paid much attention to BWI before.. the pool looks great though! Can we use the monorail? Can we see Epcot fireworks from there?'

There are fireworks at Epcot and MK on the 29th and the 30th. The 30th is the HallowWishes fireworks.

Depends on how long you're staying, and what you plan on doing while there.

We usually split our stays between the Poly and the BW. This way you get a taste of two different resorts, and also get to take advantage of the easy transportation options for each resort.

Personally, if I wasn't going to the parks and just spending time at the resorts, I would stay at the BW. While I do love the Poly, there are just more things to do around the BW area. There are also a lot more dining options. Also, everything is open later around the BW area. And if you're planning on going to DTD, it's a very short bus ride, compared to the seemingly endless ride from the MK resorts to DTD.

You can see the Epcot fireworks from different areas around the BW and BC. There is no monorail access to the BW, however if you walk through Epcot to the front, you can take the monorail from there back to the MK.

Whichever you choose, you will be happy with I am sure!!

I must preface this by telling you that BW is my favorite resort ever. If I had it my way, I would never stay anywhere else. :thumbsup2 With that said, part of your decision should take into account which park you plan to spend the most time at, and what your priority is. With the ages of your kids, I am going out on a limb, and assuming they may be partial to MK. If that is the case, you may be best at POLY or CR, because of the convenience of the monorail. From BW you can walk or boat to both EPCOT and MGM. I love the convenience of that. You can partially see the fireworks at EPCOT from BW, but not a direct view. The greatest part is that you can watch the fireworks at Epcot, and then walk leisurely back to the BW afterwards. You don't have to fight crowds for buses or monorails back to your resort. The themeing at all of the resorts is great. And you certainly can't beat a MK view from CR or POLY. Like I said, personally I'd take BW. But anyway you slice it, you can't go wrong! Have fun! :cheer2:

We will have 2 days. Our trip is 11 days (free dining) but I am taking 2 days off that at the end to stay there. All of our park days will be done earlier. These last 2 days were going to be just relaxing! We might hit MK to do a ride or two if we missed one but thats it. We will have 10 park days plus 6 water parks... so going into MK just for a ride or two is nothing.... We arent big epcot fans.. our kids didnt enjoy it that much the last time we went. But since we are looking for the resort aspect of it, I would consider BW
