 Hi all....I have an interview next month and have to fly to BWI. My interview is at 8am, so I do not want to chance an early morning flight down (although non-stop) so I think I will fly in the evening before...
Any suggestions for a overnight hotel stay at the airport....I went on the BWI airport website and there are sooooo many!
Remember I'm going on a job interview and I really do not want to spend a fortune on a quick overnight.
Thanks in advance for any and all help.... ;)

I would go to www.biddingfortravel.com to the Baltimore section and see what hotels have come wup with Priceline before. Then see what people are paying on the forum and secure the room that way. Priceline is especially good in situations like this....there are tons of hotels right there, you don't have a real preference for which property...you want a good deal!

When I lived out in DC (oh, how I miss thouse days :( ) I used to stay at the holiday Inn Express out by BWI when I had an early flight to catch. Nice rooms, nice staff, and a shuttle that begins running at 5am.

I wouldn't hestitate to go back there.

Hope this helps!

We enjoyed our stay at Amerisuites 2 years ago and have it booked again for this coming April. They have a very nice free breakfast buffet [elaborate continental style] on site.

Thanks so much everyone....especially you...Dan Murphy :)

I just looked over bidding for travel...thanks! But, int the Southwest newletter I got this week, they had a special with double rapid rewards at any "Choice" brand hotel....Comfort Inns, Sleep Inns etc.
So it looks like the Comfort Inn Suites were the most resonable, with the double rapid rewards credit.

I am also going back down there at the end of April with my daughter's high school marching band for a competition and we are staying at the Marriott (directly across the street from the Comfort Suites). So I'll get to check out the area this time around by myself........
I may have to move to the Baltimore area if I get this job.....or to the Orlando area, or Dallas, Houston, Chicago, Oakland or the Phoniex area....guess who I might be working for??? ::yes::

WOW IT'S MY 500TH POST!!! HOORAY!!!:Pinkbounc

Just bumping this up a bit...wondering if any of you have ever stayed near the Arundel Mills mall before (hotel suggestions??)and just how far from the airport is this? My DD is coming down with me and we thought this would be a good alternative to airport lodging, and we could shop!!!

I've never stayed at an Arundel Mills hotel but there is a new one (Marriott brand, can't remember which) that just opened practically in their parking lot. It looks really nice. Arundel Mills is maybe 20 minutes from the airport which is Lithicum. If you have time for shopping that would be a great place to stay!

Thanks Michelina! I checked out www.bwiairport.com and under the accommodations link they list two..a....

Residence Inn/Marriott
Arundel Mills BWI Airport
7035 Arundel Mills Circle
Hanover, MD 21076
and...
Hampton Inn & Suites
7027 Arundel Mills Circle
(Opens September 2002)

when I checked out both....they have an airport shuttle..I think I may do the Residence Inn since my teen DD is coming with me and there is also a huge movie theatre there also...
With so many choices it's very confusing....do we go with the free breakfast option or the indoor pool or the very close to shopping?? Like I said, very confusing!
