Has anyone else on this board stayed at the Boardwalk in the Concierge Deluxe room? We have reservations September 18-25 for our family of 5 and would love to hear about it... room location, accomodations etc. This will be my DS (9) and Twin DD's (4) first trip to DisneyWorld and we are all very excited to go.

Cinderella37: I see you will be staying there in July. Would love to get the scoop from you when you get back!

The concierge desk tells me there is only 1 concierge deluxe room at the BWI. Of course, there are other concierge rooms, but not deluxe (which is a bigger room than concierge).

Thanks so much ::))

I am staying BWI concierge soon. I have a regular concierge room booked for our family of 4. I am really thinking about upgrading to the concierge deluxe room. I'd like the boardwalk view. I don't have any information for you, but I am hoping that someone else will. Kerry CM, where are you?? This is right up your alley!:sunny:

We stayed in a Concierge Deluxe a few years back and loved it. I think there are four of them at BWI. There are two on the third floor and two on the fourth floor. The third floor rooms should have concierge access even though they are not on the fourth floor. (We had access.)

The room has two queen beds plus a queen pull-out sofa. When you walk in the room, the restroom is right there (just like most hotels), then the two queen beds, and finally a decent sized sitting area (where the sofa is) with the TV. Finally, of course, the balcony overlooking the BoardWalk. The room has the added sitting area, which makes it really nice.

I think you family will love the room. There will certainly be enough bedding for everyone. Have fun!

We stayed in a concierge deluxe room at BWI in Feb. It was our favorite room/resort so far. The room is much larger than any other room we've stayed in. There was a tv at the end of the beds and another over by the pull out sofa. Our room was near the lounge (not sure where the other deluxe rooms are). For 5 people this room was great (we had 3 adults and 2 children). For comparison we've also stayed at the Wilderness (just 2 adults and 1 child at the time), and the Poly. concierge (3 adults and 2 children).

Great - It's not that we will be staying in our room much... but, with 5 of us, I would like "some space" during our week there. Plus, we did want a nice hotel. I think we will be very happy at BWI, it sounds wonderful! Thank you very much!

There are actually 12 or 14 of these rooms (as far as I know), with most of them on the 4th floor (where the concierge lounge is located) and two on the 3rd floor. We stayed in a deluxe concierge room in December and loved it. The rooms are over 600 sq. ft. The extra room is a sitting room, with a nice sized couch and there are two queen beds. The balcony is a little small, but none of the deluxe concierge rooms come with a large balcony, according to the itinerary planners. All of the deluxe rooms have a BoardWalk view.

The service is wonderful, as is housekeeping. We liked this deluxe concierge room much better than the ones at the GF. you will love it at the BWI, especially with the concierge service. I'll let you know if anything has changed.
