BWC A/C sensor question

Do the BWV's A/C units have the same type of motion or infrared sensor that people are reporting at BCV? Would like to stay cool at night!

The 2BR villa we had at BWV last week had an older style thermostat, the non-digital type where you set the temperature to "warmer" or "cooler" by moving a clear plastic lever.

In fact, our room was too cold at night! It took me a few days to figure what setting to use to keep the room cool but not too cold.
