BW preferred view from studio

I just made a ressie for a stay at the BW in Oct. in a studio. I got a preferred view & asked for the Boardwalk view instead of the pool.

We have never stayed at the BW. Do the studios have an actual balcony onto the Boardwalk or just a view from a window or something?

All rooms have a balcony or patio (first floor). The Boardwalk views are on floors 2 to 5 (first floor are stores or restaurants).

Rooms 29 and 31 (2029, 2031, 3029, 3031, etc.) are all above Big River, in the section between the General Store and Big River, and have a balcony with two chairs and a small table. The second floor wall, however, is solid, while floors 3, 4, and 5 have vertical white slats. We love this location. Beach and Yacht is straight ahead, Spaceship Earth off in the distance, and of course the Boardwalk is clearly viewable. The only downside is that the arcade style games area (basketball and ring toss) are right below.

I hope you don't think just because you asked for a pool or Boardwak view you will get one. If you did you are setting your self up for a disapointment. I think about 23% of the views are Boardwalk, and the pool views ,well you may be able to see a corner of one. Just look at it this way, if you get one count yourself lucky.

don't count on a Broadwalk view - you might if you are lucky get a lagoon view - across from the Swan?

I asked for a non-pool view but a BWV view for 6 times - got it once - the other times - you guessed it the main pool view - I learned to hate that view - so now I go with standard view when I stay at BWV.

I do realize that it's just a request and that I'm not guaranteed to get a Boardwalk view. I am familiar with the system. I will be happy with whatever I get, I was just asking if all Boardwalk view rooms had a balcony.

sorry for the most part all do have balconies - but I think the top floor 6th or 5th have the solid wall, too - and I am not sure about the corner rooms.

also when they release the first floor rooms - they won't have an outside patio because of the shops on the other side.
