We will be staying at the YC with friends in September...I'm just wondering if the BW pool is worth 'hopping' over to. We'll have 4 kids, ages about 4-14. I know they will love SAB, but am curious about the BW pool.

You won't be able to "hop" over to the Boardwalk pool unless you are staying on points. If that's the case, it's a fun pool and certainly worth trying out. You can take a look at it but without a "Member ID" you can't officially use the pool.

We just spent a day there with friends and my kids had a ball. They were staying at Boardwalk so it was a great chance to try out the pool (yes we were staying on points). The pool is large and there is a separate kiddie pool plus hot tub. There are lots of tables and chairs and some have shade. The slide is long and fast -- it scared the heck out of me but my kids (9 and 5) loved it. The slide dumps you hard but it's only a few feet to the side of the pool. There is a great snack bar with lunches and drinks right there. We had fun!

I like the slide better @ BW better than SAB but SAB is a way cooler pool.

You don't want to pool hop there!!! The pool is haunted and has the terrible, scary clown slide and a heavy Stephen King influence!! Avoid this resort and pool at all costs, if you are forced to ever stay there, make sure you especially avoid the villas with a boardwalk view,......they are REALLY haunted!!!!
