My father lives in the area and will be coming over to see us periodically during our trip to WDW. I imagine this is an odd question but if we are staying on CL will he be able to come in and join us when we use the lounge? Not trying to get him in for free but would like to understand if they will tell him he can't use the lounge. It will probably determine whether we stay in the Inn or get a villa this trip. Thanks!

Have you considered just adding him onto your reservation?

We would add him on the reservation but we are a family of 5 and doubt that it would allow us to enter another guest.

Your only option is to add him as a guest, but you have no vacancy in your room to add him. Thus, he might not be allowed to use the lounge with you.

The lounge is a perk for CL guests. Since he is not a CL guest, he might not be allowed in the lounge.

We stayed at BWI CL for my son's birthday one year. My sister & her family live in Orlando, and I asked if we could all just sit in the lounge to cut & eat the cake I got at Boardwalk Bakery. I was politely refused. :)

It's really up to the individual staff if they want to bend the rules so YMMV, but I wouldn't count on it.
