We are thinking of trying some new places at the Epcot resort area. Can you guys weigh in on some of these places that we haven't tried?

Flying Fish
Big River Grille
Captain's Galley
Yachtmen's Steakhouse

Thanks!

Captns Galley breakfast, just eh...not the greatest. Cape May is so much better for breakfast.

Yachtsman, out of this world great!

FF - excellent meal. good food, good service. $$$
BRG - beer and a burger is safe. Anything else is a roll of the dice. $
(IMHO - quality has slipped in recent years).
CG - was fine, under the old name. nothing memorable, but decent. $
YS - excellent steak. a more formal service. $$$

We actually did Thanksgiving at Yachtsman a few years ago and it was fantastic! I know it wouldn't be the same menu but I am sure the food would be just as tasty. Also we did Captains Grill breakfast and it was good but nothing special.

The Yachtsman Steakhouse and Flying Fish are the more formal restaurants. Both have excellent food, steaks the specialty at YS and seafood at the Flying Fish. If you love shellfish and fish, then FF is an excellent choice. They have a great selection of seafood appetizers and creative entrees. I love YS too because if you love a good steak, with the fancy steakhouse atmosphere and price, it is right on.

Big River is a good place to grab a microbrew. The food is more pedestrian-burgers, quesadillas, salads and sandwiches. The food was good, not incredible, but along the lines of your regular chain like Ruby Tuesday, Applebees or Max & Erma's. It is pretty noisy inside when busy, try to get a table outside if the weather is cooperating-beautiful view.

The Captains Grill is along the same line as the Big River Brew Works as far as food goes. Dinner was okay, again nothing great.
