Hi all, my DH and I be staying at BCV for the first time in a couple of weeks.

As far as DVC resorts go, I've stayed at BWV, SSR and HHI. Any tips, recommendations or advice to help our stay at BVC be just as good as the ones we had at the others would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance. :)

My biggest tip would be to check out the BCV Marketplace. And if you like ice cream, don't miss the gelato. My favorite is pistachio, but honestly, I haven't met a flavor of gelato I didn't love!

Ha! That is exactly what I was going to say!The gelato is wonderful!

Also, take some time to enjoy the beautifully decorated common areas.

Good tip, I LOVE gelato - thanks!!

If you plan on going over to EPCOT, take the short cut via the walkway behind the BC. It will save you time and distance. When you exit from the BCV, and you start to walk under the lattace walkway take the first walkway on the left. Just follow that around to gate just befor the incline to the bridge that would bring over to the BW.

You my firend are staying at the most fun DVC property. My tips/thing that I like:
-ESPN - Great for lunch, dinner and midnight snake (And to catch the game)
-Beaches and cream - best icecream at WDW
-Stormalong - Best pool in all of WDW
-Nice WO room, 2nd to SSR
-Eat at Cap Mays - Best restaurant and only DVC character breakfast at WDW
-Vallet Parking - they even carry up your groceries
-Walk to the BW
-Walk to the yaght club
-Watch the scuba diver in Stormalong at 6AM
-Watching Illumination from the Bridge, the room and walking into France
- Getting a room that overlooks Epcot (the ball)
- Walking to MGM (15 min)
- hanging out at the Beach and letting the kids play in the sand
- Taking the kids to the arcade
- droping the kids off at the Beach Sand Club and going out
- Strolling to Japan, france and England for dinner
- Art - our famous doorman
- Watching the free shows out on the boardwalk at night
- Boardwalk Bakery for breakfast

Not even close, BCV is the best family resort in DVC, Best Pool, Best Character Meal, Best Location, Beast Theme, Best Views!!!
