BVC feedback??

Ok, for those "seasoned" BCV guests what kind of feedback to you have for a newbie? We're not newbies to WDW but never stayed at BCV before. We have stayed at SSR several times though. I have a studio booked for late April for 10 yr old dd and dh. Always wanted to stay there and can't pass up the latest AP rates for it.

Any suggestions on a quiet area to request?? Do you find the pool views noisey? We stayed at the BC many years ago above the quiet pool and it was anything but quiet... ...so just want to "try" to find the best room area/room to request.

Any updates as to when SOB will be complete? Are they shutting down the entire pool for the next few months or sections at a time? The last I read it should be ready in mid-April but not sure if it'll be in time for our stay or not which is ok but would love the opportunity to use it if we can.

If the pool view is too noisy for you, you might want to try a courtyard view. Courtyard could be a view of the BC by the front door of the BCV or a view of trees and a wetland area between BC and the villas.
