yesterday I went and got mesaured for my new helmet.
With the increased speed we didn't think a cycle helmet would be strong enough in a crash.
I am getting one that is 50% carbon and 50% kevlar, it the strongest and ligest helmet around and I am getting it in a holographic sparkle color.
Each helmet is hand made to order so it will be 3 -5 working days, I will post a photo when I get one.

Want to start off by thanking you Chris. I know how crazy our 'real' lives can get and trying to keep up with all the info has to just eat into that time. It was hard enough for me to just keep up with mine and that is with the Garmin logging it on the computer for me. I have sure enjoyed reading and keeping up with everyones ups and downs. I'm going to bow out of being on an official team in the future but feel like I will still post and lurk to see what everybody's up to.

Thanks to everyone for the inspiration. I wish I had a record of how many miles I logged just because I had to post for my Buzzies! I finished a 1/2 and a full marathon with a lot of the inspiration coming from right here. I will continue to leave the Buzz Brigade banner in my post if that's Ok. (Once a Buzzie always a Buzzie.)

I will still be around and may come back on here to post so all my 'family' will recieve there notice that 'Someone has posted to a thread......' and bump us back up to the top.
