:goodvibes I have a few more questions for ya:) How is the transportation around the resort itself and to the parks? How long specifically does it take to get to like the MK, EPCOT, etc? How is transportation as far as being crowded? Are buses plentiful, meaning coming and going and not long waits for boarding, etc? What about when the parks close and you are heading back? Does CSR share buses with other resorts having to drop off at other places before you get back to the CSR? LASTLY, what is the "BEST" of the "BEST" room locations to stay at? I would like more of a quiet location but not being far away from the bus stops, food and pools, ya know? How is the FOOD? What type of stuff is available? Sorry for all the questions? I really appreciate your time and help-THANKS A BUNCH:banana:

CSR has terrific transportation. It does not share with other resorts, its central to all the parks and the rides are short. 5 mins to AK, Epcot and AK and about 10 mins to MK. Buses are usually less crowded because of the convention aspect and I've never had to wait long for them to arrive. CSR only has 4 bus stops internally and the zip right along. :thumbsup2

Depending on what you want to be close to, here are some good building choices.

Cabana 9b is close to bus stop 1 and the main building with a short walk to the Dig Site (main pool) over the wooden bridge (most convenient location and most preferred).

Cabana 8a is close to the Dig Site (and playground) and bus stop 4 with a short walk to the main building (closest to the pool).

Cabana 8b and 9a are in between the 2 above. 9a has a quiet pool (and is the old smoking optional building).

Ranchos 7b has a quiet pool, is close to the Dig Site and bus stop 4 with a bit longer walk to the main building. 7b is behind cabana 8a.

Casita 1 is attached to the main building and is very close to the restaurants.

Casita 3 has great courtyard and fountain views but you will have to walk or ride the internal shuttle to get to the pool.

Casita 5 has some nice fountain and lake views and is close to the Dig Site but farther from the main building. Close to bus stop #2.

Make your room request as soon as you make your reservation. It’s never too early.

CSR has terrific transportation. It doesn't share with any other resort (like POR / POFQ) and it only has 4 bus stops within the resort (vs 7 at CBR). And since CSR is centrally located, you'll have a quick ride to all the parks. And being a convention resort, the buses seem less crowded because guests are busy with their conventions.

If I were to request Cabana 9B or 8A, would they be considered perferred or waterview. I do not mind paying the extra, I just do not want to pay for water view and then request something else..... Thanks

CSR does not have preferred rooms, just standard view and waterview.

Just waterview or standard. CSR doesn't have a preferred location but the tow that you picked would be considered preferred if they did have such a category.
