Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters is the Hardest Game Ever.

Last year, I was on this ride 30 times in 3 days thanks to my now 3 yr. old son. He loved this ride to say that is an understatement. He always wanted to ride with me and loved shooting the blaster until he found out he could spin it. Needless to say, my scores were bad and my DH in another car by himself...had really great scores.

The ride uses a red laser beam like the scope on a rifle. Point at a target and then a red dot and beam shows where you are aiming. It is too hard for me to get that red dot on the target. I am more used to aiming and hitting targets with a real gun or a shooting gallery gun.

I actually hit over 1 million last week, but the ride stopped in the tunnel with the diamonds. I had a great gun and kept shooting. Other times...not so great guns. Unfortunately, I do not have a picture as their was an error in their system.

How does the online game work? I saw on the poster who broke 2.6 million that it was a combined score. I've heard that your friends can logon to a computer and light up targets for you as you ride through, and that obviously can help rapidly increase your score. Is this true? How do you know when your friends are there, and how does it work? Would love to figure this out.
