Is this ride for small children only and also how fast does it spin? I am not keen on spinning but I did like MIB at Universal.

No, it's for big children, too :teeth:. You control the spinning yourself. I'd always gone on with dh (with him controlling the spinning) and scored really badly. In December last year, the friends we were with (a certain Mr and Mrs Stringer of these parts) suggested we ride alone, as they always do. I whooped his...well, let's just say, my score was much better than his!

It is really for kids but its quite fun for adults as well. Its not scary at all, no drops or spins, its just fun shooting Zorg!

I don't do spinning things very well, but I loved this ride (at least 6 times!) as said above, you control the spin. We ended up riding me and DH in one car and the two kids in another! Unfortunately my DS aged 6 at the time whooped all our butts!

As for Men in Black, after assurances from DH and DD9 that it didnt spin much on their 'test' ride, went on and never stopped spinning for the entire ride!! They said it was because I was a rubbish shot!

It does spin a couple of times automatically, however, other cars can hit the exhaust pipe above your head and make it spin which is probably what happened to you.

My DH was fine the first time we went on but the second time we must have been hit a lot more because we span a lot and he felt a bit queasy afterwards.

I don't reckon this is for kids at all. An absolutely brilliant ride and probably my dad's favourite. Definately one to get a fast track for before riding then often you can practically go straight back on. :cheer2: Love it love it love it! Didn't experience any spinning as a result of other cars shooting at us, to be honest everyone concentrates on hitting targets and Zorg too much. So in sum... i think you'll be absolutely fine, nothing scary even if you tried your hardest to spin all the way around :rotfl2: and i think the track is actually flat the whole way.

Let us know what you think x

It's funny as I don't remember seeing this when we were there but I shall find it out this time and maybe have a go.

It's for kids - of all ages!! BIG kids too.

It is not a ride to do on your own though, ideally I would say it's a father and son ride, naturally mother's and daughter's too :)

LOve this ride Cazzie, great for everybody, like being IN a space invaders type atmosphere! my son loves it too and he's a big wuss!!! (as in he won't do space or splash mountain)

Hi Cazzie

If you can handle MIB, you will be just fine with Buzz. It does spin a lot less, and as other people have said, you control most of the spinning yourself. When you do spin it is a lot slower and more controlled than MIB.

My DH doesn't like spinning rides but he handles Buzz and MIB fine, to the extent that he is nearly always in charge of spinning our car. Have managed to wrestle control from him once or twice though!

Oh, and Buzz is a special favourite with me, because it's the ride where I saw my first hidden Mickey!!

I felt a bit sick on this one, but I think it was down to the fact that my partner insisted that I filmed his score with the camcorder! Great fun for all ages and I thought Buzz waving his arms about etc at the queue was brill.
:rotfl2: :bounce:
