What were your experiences with this ride at WDW. I have twin boys age 4 who like Buzz and I wondering if your little ones also enjoyed this ride.

Let me know

Thanks

This is an extremely fun ride for all ages. It is like a video game. Each person has a control "gun" and you attempt to shoot lasers at every letter "Z." Even my DH and I love it!

It is a big hit with my kids. It is not scary and there is a laser gun to shoot the 'Z'. You will go on this ride more than once!

My kids loved it, and they are 15-13-10-8! It was our 2nd ride at MK, and we rode it twice in a row. The standby line was only 5 minutes at that time!

It's a awesome ride for all ages. The cars seat two people. Each person has a laser gun. There is another controller in the middle that turns your car around. It's a continuously loading ride like Haunted Mansion, but it's very slow, so it's easy to load. You slowly ride through different rooms that are dayglo with robots like Zurg and other aliens. You shoot the Z's and get points. At the end of the ride there's a chart that let's see how well you did. I never made it past Space Cadet, but my husband got Commander or something. Even for two adults, we ride it more than once. Your boys will have a ball.

My boys loved this ride. We had to go onto about 5 or 6 times:tongue: . Now we have as our wallpaper on our desktop.

Absolute best ride in WDW according to my boys, ages 3 & 5. DH and I had a blast as well. Definitely plan on riding this more than once. Your boys will love it!

My youngest was almost 4 (one week shy) when we went. He rode it and rode it. For some strange reason (maybe it was the rain, or maybe the parade) he and his dad could just get back on. We got him a t-shirt for his birthday and smuggled it home that said Buzz Lightyear Spin and on the back "I went to infinity and beyond!"

It is his favorite shirt and wears it almost everyday. He doesn't know we are going again, but talks about the day he can ride it again.

If they like Buzz Lightyear they will LOVE this ride!!!!!

My son (then 3) loved this ride, so did his dad & I ;)

All five of my nephews love Buz, so do I. Go to www.badshoe.com click on Visit the Theme Parks...you will be able to get special pointers to impress everyone with high scores.

It is a constantly moving line too so wait times never get too bad.

At 5 and 3, my 3 year old was scared to go back on a couple years ago while my 5 year old loved it. This year both kids, now 5 and 7, loved it and we went on several times.

My 3 yo loved it and is a huge Buzz fan, too. I would recommend that your sons each ride with an adult or much older child instead of riding it together. Also if they are Buzz and Toy Story fans, don't forget to go to the character greeting at Al's Toy Barn in MGM, and stop at the Pizza Planet arcade around the corner.

Oh my gosh, I don't know who loved this ride more my son or me. It is such fun. Even if your boys didn't already love Buzz, they will absolutely LOVE THIS RIDE! It is colorful, fun to spin your own seat, but most fun shooting for points.

We went with our kids and their cousins in May: boys and girls ages 2-13. EVERYBODY (grown-ups included) LOVED IT. We rode that more times than any other ride in any of the parks. My 2 yr. old DD barely knew Buzz Lightyear existed before Space Ranger Spin. She even got to be in charge of spinning the car (spun us silly)and occasionally shooting lasers at targets!
Now she is a true Buzz fan, and won't go to bed without having a conversation with her Buzz Lightyear electric toothbrush--voice supplied by either parent, it's all the same to her.
Have fun!:p

I think this is the one ride that everyone enjoys equally. One year we went--my and DH (30s), DD3, DS6, grandma (60+) great-grandma (80+) and everyone loved it!

My daughter was 5 and my son was 2 when we went on this ride last fall. They both liked it, it wasn't scary at all and that is saying a lot, because my 5 year-old is scared of most everything! My son couldn't really operate the laser gun, he was too short, but all he wanted to do was look at everything anyway. If your boys like Buzz, I'm sure they'll like it!

I'm a little worried about this because spinning rides make me very sick. How much spinning does Buzz do to you?

The ride will not make you sick. The spinning is controlled by you to position yourself toward targets.

This was my mine and my DS's (almost 13) favorite ride. We rode it with fastpasses, we rode it for EMM, we rode it during E-ride nights. My son particularly liked it when he realized that he was better positioned to score big if he sat in the right side of the car. Once he learned that, he could beat me every time. Since my son generally prefers roller coasters with the more loops and twists the better, it was a relief to find a ride that we both loved riding over and over again without any threat of nausea.
