Buzz Lightyear Rehab

As many of you may already know, Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin is currently under some work. They're installing a photo booth, actually. Anyway, I'd like to know if anybody know's if the attraction is closed due to this, and if so, when will it be open.

we were on buzz lightyear last week. I didn't notice any work going on. The ride was open everytime we visted the MK

Well, I for one hope it doesn't go down anytime soon. Our trip is October and we missed this ride in February due to rehab. It is the first thing on our MK list.

Big Thunder Mtn will be closed when we are there, I can live with that though. If Buzz were to be closed though....Oh my, I don't even want to imagine the disappointment!!

The rehab of BTMRR is scheduled from 8/24 - 11/19. That's the word on Disney's official site. We just miss it, we'll be there the 2nd week in Nov.

i was at MK today. there was some work going on in the area but the ride was open.work is probably taking place after hours

That's a long time for a ride to be under construction!

That is an ENORMOUS bummer! Last time we were there, DD was too short to ride, and we promised we would not come back until she was tall enough. We are there in October, and she is actually 1 1/2 inches ABOVE the height restriction now and has been telling all of her friends that she gets to ride BTMRR. I have a LOT of explaining to do.... ....

As of last week the ride was open but the former que area was behind walls under construction. They moved the exit over a little because of this.

The cars are still looking pretty bad and this ride needs a rehab.

Not to get off the orginal subject, but I thought Buzz Lightyear Ranger Spin went thru rehab earlier this year to fix the guns and clean up the cars.

Back to the orginal subject: I'd suggest calling Disney to find out if Buzz will be closed or not.

We were there in the second week of June and we noticed a number of the cars were in need of refurb'ing. The surfaces were worn pretty badly.

The construction at the Buzz Lightyear attraction is outside of the attraction in the queue area, and has nothing to do with the working mechanism.

We all insist on safty and mecaical things do need to be rehab. How many trips do you think that little train makes in a year.

There is some kind of construction going on around the side of Bussliftyear. Closing the ride is not on any rehab notice.

They are doing a photo shop set up like many other attractions like TOT, RNRC, according to another WDW Website. This should not affect operations...
