I know if you buy them online they're cheaper than if you were to buy them at the gate. But how far in advance do you have to buy them???

Do they mail them to you or is it something you can print off the computer???

They aren't activated until you use them (other than any special deals going on which will have an expiry date). This means you can order them whenever you like as long as they don't expire before you use them. For example, there is a buy 2 get one day free ticket that will expire in June. You don't want to order them for use in July. Any other ticket can be ordered whenever you want and kept as long as you want.

They have a print at home ticket but then you'll have to carry around a piece of printer paper. They also have a kiosk pick up option which means you can pick up your ticket at the kiosks in Citywalk, the front of the parks, or the onsite hotels.

hmm, okay thanks!
I'm going to Disney in January and Universal for a day. I just don't wanna buy the tickets too late and then them not get to my house in time!

You don't need to have them sent. You have two other options.

Your best option is to use the Will Call kiosks in front of each park. All you need is the credit card you used and the confirmation number. Input the information and your tickets print out right there...it's quick and easy. Plus you will receive the actual tickets instead of using the sheet of printer paper when you print at home. Plus...you won't have to worry about losing them before you arrive.

We printed ours out - then made 2 photocopies of each person's. We bought ours in Jan/Feb 2010 and I think the only option for that particular ticket deal was to print them out. We will be using them next week.

I purchased Universal tickets a few years ago at AAA I don't know if they still sell them or if you have a AAA membership. Linda :)

I second the WillCall option...much quicker than the ticket window on busy days...though if you're going in January, not sure that'll be an issue.
