Buying Tickets the Day of

We are coming into Orlando next week and wanted to do Universal for one day. The ticket sites and Universal have this day blacked out. Does this mean that they will not sell tickets the day of at their ticket booths, or are they just limiting online sells?

Did you check UT? Looks like you can buy there.

Yeah once you get to checkout they take you to a new calendar where those days are blacked out.

I'd be really curious if those dates are already sold out. I can't find any official communication but you clearly can't buy tickets for certain days. Update if you learn more, OP!
Oh, and I would absolutely try and get tickets before day of to reduce lines. Like check the Universal store at the airport and see if they have tickets? Or visit one of the hotels or CityWalk one evening ahead of your Universal days and buy there.

I finally found no date tickets on the Universal website, they were a little more expensive, but it was the only workaround that I found.

Yes I think they must be restricting tickets next week. I wanted to buy 5 day tickets starting 3/27 and was forced to buy them starting 3/26.

Spring Break... they are packed (to the reduced capacity). If have non-dated tickets and not staying on site, plan on getting there at (before) opening.
