Buying tickets on ebay

Since this is a Florida law, some people interpret it to mean that if you sell the tickets in Florida, you are breaking the law, but if you are selling them outside of Florida, it's not illegal.
I'm talking about the actual FL law..not what Disney puts on the tickets (non transferable). If you sell tix on eBay, there is a whole list, by state of actual law. It is not illegal in most states to resell tickets..however, some states have laws about how much you can sell them for over the actual price, some have laws about used tickets, etc. I wasn't referring to the "rules" of contract Disney put on the tix, which you haven't gotten to read before you buy.
The tix are suppose to be signed now, but we noticed that even though there were places for people to take the time to sign them, and a cm was telling them too, it wasn't being enforced for those who didn't. Sort of like when they asked for tix to be shown for early morn hours where you catch the monorail and boat (not room keys, which I thought was odd), and I held out my AP folder, without realizing, it was empty, and I had put the actual AP elsewhere.
I use an AP, so it doesn't affect me..but there are some legitimate, allowed sellers on eBay right along with the bad sellers, so as with anything on eBay, it's buyer beware and be careful.
This is the ebay page about restrictions on the sale of event tickets (which is the category Disney tickets are in, according to ebay). You have to look at both parts of the table to see the restrictions for Florida, not just the top part. The bottom part indicates no sale of multi day tickets that have been used at least once.
And from the ebay page about contracts and tickets, it says "Some items, such as airline tickets, have terms printed on the item that may limit your ability to sell that item. " So, what Disney prints on the tickets is relevant to whether or not they can be sold.
It doesn't affect me either since we have APs, but I have seen people whose tickets didn't work and they lost the tickets and money when they couldn't prove the partially used tickets belonged to them.

i saw people scanning there but is this with all tickets now
The new tickets started this year.
I think they rolled out Jan 2. I know the start date was during the time DH and I were at WDW for New Years.
We didn't pay attention because we had APs, but we saw the signs.

This is the ebay page about
And from the ebay page about [URL=http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/contracts.html]contracts and tickets
, it says "Some items, such as airline tickets, have terms printed on the item that may limit your ability to sell that item.

Yes, thank you, I understand about the FL law, and I also understand about contracts, and that you have to be aware of them and accept them in advance. I'm suprprised that when the tickets are sold that they don't have something come up first, before you buy, that says you understand you are entering into a contract, etc. Because they don't, that is why eBay has not stopped these sales based on contracts. What I find even more interesting, is that one person who did have her auction shut down, because she was reported, actually went one on one with eBay and it was determined that these were not "event" tickets, which really through a mix into it. Her auctions are back up, and she's been selling tickets for sometime. Of course it's hard to tell if they are used multiday tickets, since that's not always mentioned. I just wonder where she gets all these tickets. My sales have been a very occasional leftover, and it's been awhile, since I now like to collect the odd days we have on the old tickets, in case we go in the parks with someone and need a one day ticket.
I've personally not known anyone who has had a problem with the tix not working. I've heard about someone's cousin's, aunts, sisters, etc, or that someone saw "someone" turned away from the turnstiles, but I've never known anyone myself, and you are actually the first person I know who actually knows the person/s it happened to. But even that said, it's something I would do with caution, and make sure it's even a deal..it seldom is...which is why I can't even figure out why people buy them on line.

poor guy.... you'd think people shopping at ebay are savvy enough to get the important information before they actually bid on something.

I'm wondering are people allowed to buy MYW tickets and sell them as long as they haven't been used at all?

I'm wondering this, too. I know someone who bought BRAND NEW tickets from Ticketmania. Then after he received them had one person back out of going on the trip.

Can he now sell that one NEW, never-used ticket on eBay to keep the 1 ticket from going to waste. (I told him he could, but am now not so sure???)

Would they have his name printed on them already? I haven't seen them.
