Any sugestions on saving money when ordering tickets in advance?

I'm going for 7 days. Was considering buying non-expring 10 day tickets (hopper& water parks option). Staying at Beach Club so we want to be able to hop each day and go into EPCOT at night.

Is non expiring a better option. We will have 3 days for parks left and probably 8 water park visits.

We go 1 or 2 times per year (1 longer trip and 1 short 3 or 4 day trip).

Last year had annual passes but did 4 trips (21 days) so it was worth it.

Also, whio do you buy from?? I've used undercover tourist & looking at cheepdisneytickets*com or dwtickets*com.

When we went last year we got APs for the first time. I already had a reservation for New Year's for a short stay, and knew I could just plan next summer's vacation before the APs expired. I also strongly considered the 10 day no expire tix with WPFM because of the twenty total entries you get. What I did was I compared the cost of the two knowing I would get 10 park visits on the first two trips, and probably another 8 park visits next summer for less money so I went with that. We will probably go with the 10-day option next time since the trips will probably be spread out a little more. You just have to compare the prices and see what works best for you. It helped that we are members of DVC and get a discount on the AP price.

As for who we have used for discounts, in the past we bought from Maple Leaf Tickets. They are the only ones we have used when staying off-site. Don't know if anyone else may be a little less, but keep in mind that when you compare prices, a lot of people don't include Tax in the price they advertise, but MLT does. The price you see is the exact price you pay. They will also send the tickets to you ahead of time for a shipping cost if you want them in hand. They are close to the parks so we just wait and try to get there a little early our drive down day and stop by to get them there before they close.

going to do two trips you should seriously look at an AP for one person especially if you do a lot of table service meals. The Tables In Wonderland (nee Disney Dining Experience) can save a lot of money. (If you drink wine with meals it's a loooooot of money.)

We have used Undercover Tourist a couple of times. Mousesavers.com has a monthly newsletter that provides a little more of a discount. It's not huge but it's not much work. I think the last time we bought from them it was $70-$80 cheaper.

We have been doing non-expiry tickets. I bought ten day non-expiry tickets in August prior to the price increase. The non expiry option went up significantly this time (saved almost 10% by buying them before the price increase) so I would have to look at the comparison again. It will be some time before I have to look since we now have 13 days of tickets banked.

About 4 years ago when we were booking a trip we bought 10 day passes as they were such a good deal. We always get the hopper and also add th non expiring option. We used 5 days that year and just the past summer my youngest DS and I went on a last minute trip and used 3 more so it works out well for us.

Our family of 4 purchased 10 days of the non-expiring park tickets several years ago. We used 3 days the first trip, 3 on the next and are getting ready for our third trip where we will use 2 more. We will have 2 left so we have been able to stretch ours over 4 trips.

I have a question about upgrading a ticket after you use it:

Do you get a new ticket or the original ticket back?

I assume you get a new paper ticket.

Is this new ticket linked to your fingerprint/scan?

If not, then anybody could use this upgraded ticket before the 14 day expiration date, correct?

Please help me figure this out.

I'm trying to figure out how people on Orlando craigslist sel tickets so cheap and if the tickets are valid
