Buying tickets from an out-of-state AAA?

My husband is an AAA member, but last I checked, our branch still doesn't carry 5 day park hoppers. Has anyone purchased from an out-of-state office? Is there any way to tell which branches allow this?

I belong to AAA & I don't know about ticket
availability, but I do know that my area AAA
offices all carry different merchandise!
So, I've actually gone "shopping" at other,
larger or more stocked offices that are just
a few miles away from my membership office.

Anyway, this leads me to believe that you could
purchase anything from any AAA office around
the US?

Do you know for sure that the other AAA's
in-state don't carry the 5 day PH'S?
I'd call around the different offices and ask...
Otherwise, try the 800# to see if they have
a list of available products?

Yes, I just checked the website to verify. We've been going to WDW since the early 90's, and the offices here only sell 4 day passes.

I would not hesitate to purchase something from a distant AAA office. If you are feeling uncomfortable about it, ask your local AAA if they will get what you need from another AAA office for you. I think as long as you are willing to pay, they will help. Our local AAA stopped selling Disney Passes altogether because Disney would not re-imburse them for unsold passes. But, they are very, very helpful. You might even want to stop by the Orlando or Kissimmee offices and purchase what you need when you get down there.

I also live in MA and and went through the same thing last January. I called AAA in Portland, ME and bought the 5 day hoppers over the phone. It was a very minimal shipping fee, and they mailed them right out to me. You shouldn't have a problem.

And be sure if you buy your tickets from them that you also get the AAA diamond parking pass. You still have to pay for parking, but it gets you into a closer lot. We don't even bother with the trams at MK.

I am a AAA member but we don't have a AAA office in the city
I live in - no costco either, no disney store anymore (we are so out of the loop).

Anyway, I will have to order my parkhopper tickets by phone or
internet. Does someone have some good prices on park hopper
tickets from a AAA offices? The parking AAA diamond card as well
as the discount for food from serval places with the AAA diamond
card makes me think AAA may be the best place to buy my
parkhopper tickets.

I remember North Carolina was the cheapest...I'm not sure if they still are.

I wish you could check on line but the sites ask you to log in
and you have to be from that area. The texas site does not
list the tickets just vacation packages. I guess I can give Georgia
and North Carolina a call and see what they say.

Any others know of a good AAA ticket price?

All you need to do is clear the cookies on your computer, go to www.aaa.com and put in the zip code for the area you are interested in. Your phonebook should have the zip code information. I have done this many times to check prices. I have been wondering who has the best price for 4 Day PH. My Oklahoma branch doesn't sell them. So, soon, I am going to check some other states, North Carolina area first, thanks to an above poster. Good luck.

We're planning on buying our Park Hopper tickets through our local AAA. These were the least expensive tickets I've been able to find (unless I missed out on a great deal somewhere else?).

They only have 4-Day and 6-Day Park Hoppers.
4-Day: $210 (includes tax)
6-Day: $280 (includes tax)
They will be mailing mine to me at no additional cost.

Just bought my 5-day Park Hoppers at my CT AAA. They don't sell Park Hopper Plus passes, though.

This is where I plan to get my tix. Cheapest I could find. I think if you order on the web site with your AAA number, it doen't matter if you live in NC or SC or not.

Thank you. I tried, but wasn't able to order online at the N. Carolina site. When I tried to regsiter, which you have to do before ordering, it wouldn't recognize my husband's AAA number. I think it was because our club code is different

Last night I was clicking around looking at different AAA sites- came across AAA Nebraska. I put in my AAA number when they asked, and got all the way to the credit card screen without a problem (I'm from MA) . I haven't decided how many days I need yet- was just trying to see if it would work! The prices:

4 day $210
5 day $231
6 day $289 (I assume is a plus)

The prices included tax, but were $4.50 to ship.

Still not as cheap as the ones HopingforAMiracle found in NY though!

I haven't done it with Disney Tixs but i have done it with Cedar Point tixs. Taken my MI AAA card into an OHIO AAA office and bought tixs.

These are the prices I was quoted when I called ealier this year too. Shipping was $10 FedEx for the total order, any AAA member can order over the phone and have their total order shipped for the $10. The price for the 5 day WAS $212 earlier this year....but I slacked and when I went to order they had gone up to $232.
