We have a trip planned to Orlando, but are not planning to go to Universal. If we decide to go there for a day, what are our options for buying tickets at the park? Do they have kiosks so that you don't have to wait in line at the ticket window?

At Disney (pre-COVID, anyway), even if you were there when you were making the purchase, buying online was cheaper than buying at the ticket window. Does the same apply for Universal?

We will not be staying at a Universal hotel.

From my understanding, same applies. Usually faster too. But if possible I'd buy at least an hour beforehand in case the e-mail confirmation is slow.
