Buying tickets at resort

I reserved a room with the AP rate, but I don't have my AP yet. I read somewhere you could buy park tickets at your resort. I called PBH and the lady transferred me to the ticket desk, got voicemail, and left a msg., noone has returned my call yet.

My questions are: Can I purchase an AP at the resort, and then can I purchase regular tickets (using my AP discount at resort)?

And is it okay, that I won't have my AP when I check in?

You will need to activate your AP before purchasing tickets at the AP discount. APs are only available online or at the park ticket windows.
