Good luck to you all! We finally think we sold our house! At least all the papers have been signed except the final ones. The house we are buying is twice the size of the one we have now. And it's the 1st house for the people buying ours. I guess I might meet them Weds. b/c our inspection is then. I hope everything goes OK! DH is so stressed that something might go wrong.
Our house was on the market 3 weeks. We had 4 people put in contracts on it!
I hope things continue to go well. If they do we move the end of May. (With a new baby!!!!)

Sonya, that is so awesome! Congrats to you! I can't wait for the day I post that our house is SOLD!

Our dilemma is that we are afraid to list our house for sale until we find something we like & can afford! Then again, if we find something we like & can afford, by the time we sell our house, the house we can afford/like could be gone!! If we sell quickly then where do we go???

Mishetta - Put your home on the market and start looking for that new one. If you sell your home first you can always stay in a short-term rental apartment for a while. That is exactly what we did and it worked out fine. We put most of our furniture (except the essentials) in storage while in the apartment.

Mishetta, it will work out on the timing, I really believe that it does most of the time. We put a contract on a house with a contigency that we sell our house 1st, but we didn't need that. Just get that house on the market! And keep looking!

Pembo, I think I need a little more stress in my life please. We have lots of volunteers to help us move, unfortunately they all want to take care of the baby, not lift boxes!

Ours is listed too, not sure where we'll go exactly but we have a few options. It is being shown this evening, keeping our fingers crossed!
