Buying Rapid Rewards points - Southwest?

Does anyone know if you buy more rapid reward points do they show on your account immediately? I want to buy some ASAP but if they take a couple days to show up then I would rather just pay in dollars for the flight. TIA!

I did this about a month ago and the points I purchased showed immediately.

Yep, I had to buy a few points for a trip in October, it showed up instantly.

I bought some yesterday and they showed up in about 10 minutes
