Buying ponchos

I don't want to get soaked on the rides (like I did at Kali River Rapids) so should I get some ponchos or do jsut regular rain jackets work. Also, where would I buy some "cheap" ponchos? Don't want to buy the ones at Disney. It just seems a waste.
I am really getting excited about the trip!!!!

Another vote for Dollarama, I bought extras so if it does rain (BUT IT'S NOT GOING TO!) we can just throw them out when it stops. Also after the rapids, we just find the nearest garbage. The lighter the load the better.

I ended up getting mine at Canadian Tire as the Dollar store here didn't have any. Also, after the rapids we gave our ponchos to someone coming up to the ride so they were being used again. We weren't going to use them and we sure didn't want to tote them around so it was great that someone else would stay dry as well.

I am going the day after you and packing a bit here, a bit there.
Dollarama is our favorite place for stuff!!!!
I'm going to the one near us tomorrow to look for Ponchos also!

Don't forget something lime green as a DIS'er.

(I got some Home Depot Mickey paint chips, ready to laminate and make into tags)

Bought mine at wal-mart for $1.47 each. I bought 6 and brought them for a 10 day trip. They worked so well. They fit perfectly into a small poncho and were easily accessible for when I needed it. Plus, I had no guilt about throwing it out when I was done with it.

Count me in too-Looney Lizard and Dollarama (after I cleaned out Looney Lizard)-I put them in every bag (Sports bags for the kids, Golf bag for DH, In my purse, in our backpacks etc). Usually buy a doz at a time LOL!

I never thought of Dollarama. Hope they have some this time of year, the stuff they carry always changes so much!

Bought some about 2 weeks ago-they had lots. They are just clear plastic-not coloured ones.
