How often do you buy pins? I only started pin collecting a few weeks ago and i already have 10 lol so i'm quite pleased. I've been getting mine from Ebay

How about you?

Have you tried trading on Pinpics.com. You have to have the pins to trade but to get older pins or complete a set they are great.

www.dizpins.com also have a selling board.

I started collecting in Jan, 2000

when i reached 6000 pins I stopped counting

its

www.dizpins.com that the previous poster was referring to

I will go on eBay and buy some of the newer lanyard pins. They might run a little higher, but that is life I guess.

I do some trading on Pin Pics, but I get frustrated some when you run into to people who think that they are God's gift to pin trading and feel the need to tell you everything you are doing wrong and you are asking for too much for your pin, and so on and so forth.

I have a few people that I really like to trade with and we always try to help each other out. Makes it really nice.

My wife and I syarted doing this for our daughter and then we got hooked. Doesn't that just figure??? :earsboy:

My daughter collects Princesses, mainly Ariel and Jasmine, my wife collects Haunted Mansion and I collect Maleficent and a few odds and ends that we really like. Almost done with the new logo cast set. Just need Epcot and MGM. Picked up a Cruise one last night. If anyone has either of those, please do not hesitate to drop me a message. Would love to trade!!!

www.dispins.com also have a selling board and here on disboards there is on although I haven't purchased here.

A correction -- while www.dizpins.com does have boards for selling pins and boards for trading pins on their website, here on the DIS we only have a trades/wants board (link at the top of the Collectors Board) where members can post their traders and want lists. Buying and selling of pins (or any item) on the DIS is not allowed.

A clarification to my correction --

The DIS does have a DIS Auctions area on the site where members can buy and sell items. Above, I was referring to posts on the message boards themselves by people looking to buy or sell pins or any item directly. I apologize for any confusion.
