does anyone buy pins from Disneystore.com? I want to get a few and not pay a fortune for my daughter...they a few on sale but are holiday related...are these tradeable?? I am sooo clueless!!!!

If you buy on a monday they usually have free shipping in the US.

I have bought a bunch of pins from them.
The CM love them because they are nice and not those junky cuties.

I have bought a ton of them, and we especially like the Jumbo ones. They are nice. They are official Disney pins so they are all OK'd for trading at the parks.

Is it better to buy pins from disneyshopping.com or from WDW?

Some pins are cheaper at Disneyshopping then at WDW, but it doesn't matter which ones you buy to trade, they both have nice pins.
The problem is they sold pins called cuties at the Disney Stores, they were really cheap and junky.
When you go to DW you will see them on most CM laynyards, so they will be happy if you have a nice pin to trade.

Honestly, the WDW pins are valued more because they are a bit more difficult to get, especially the limited edition ones. Disney Shopping does have some that are highly sought after, however, and sometimes you can get an LE100 or LE250 through them that sells out very quickly. In pin collecting, as long as they have the Disney backstamp you are fine, so my suggestion is to collect something you love and don't worry about what everyone else wants unless you are buying a pin strictly to trade for something you want.

Hope this helps!:goodvibes
