Buying Park Tix at Local Disney Store?

I'm not sure if this is the right place for my question. Please feel free to move it if need be.

We are planning on buying Disney gift cards at Target, then taking those to our local store to purchase park tickets. Has anyone done this? If so, is it difficult to add those park tickets to your MDE to book FP+?

Also, does anyone know if Target limits the number of gift cards you can purchase? We would like to use gift cards to pay for tickets as well as our food and souvenirs.

It's easy to use gift cards for ticket purchases at the Disney Store.

Link the ticket numbers into your MDE account - very easy to do.

Target does not limit the number of gift cards you can purchase.
