Is it possible to purchase more than one ticket per person for the purpose of obtaining more FP's? (i.e., scan and enter with one ticket, exit, and scan and enter with a 2nd ticket).

We always did this with legacy FP's and it worked great. I'm assuming we can do the same with FP+, just curious if there are any nuances we should be aware of.

Sounds expensive.

Yes, but so is a vacation to Disney World. This method is also far cheaper than a VIP tour.

Wow, this seems like a real extreme thing to do just to get more Fastpasses. Our Fastpasses wouldn't work unless the tickets were activated at the gate...we went to use one for my daughter and we hadn't scanned her at the gate (she is 3 and they waived us through) and we were told it wasn't working for that reason. So you would have to scan both tickets at the gate...not sure if the CMs would give you trouble or not.

Yes - the trick right now is having every ticket associated with a person on the room reservation so you can pre-book the FP+.

A party of two could do this easily. Just pretend to be a party of 4, and give two fictitious names for the fictitious people. Buy all "4" people tickets and off you go.

If you are already a party of 3 or more, you will have a problem. You will also need another room to pre-book unless Disney changes this limitation.

Possible, but IMO not worth it.

That is a lot of money for what at certain parks amounts to one extra FP+ ride per person. Your money to burn though lol, it's doable.

Thanks for the quick responses. Essentially, this method costs about $23 per FP+ reservation, assuming 4-day tickets.

As it stands, Disney has lost our business because of FP+. This method is the only way I'd consider going back. Any "improvements" they make to FP+ will hopefully make this strategy more appealing.

I can't even imagine doing this. And there would have been no way to do it with legacy because the ticket has to be used to get in the park, unless you went in and then back out and in again on another ticket. Sound expensive and a lot of work.

On the contrary, I think Disney might interpret this tactic as you being completely onboard with FP+ and gaining your business.

This is what the OP is contemplating. Note the word "exit" in the post.

No kidding--- Disney's THRILLED with the fact you're considering this. Gives them the green light to start selling additional FPs!!!

Biggest waste of money I have ever heard of! Why not just go somewhere else if you hate it so much??? :confused3

While it isn't something you or I might do, there is no need for the scolding. If WDW sold a front of the line pass for $200 per person per day, you know darn well that there are people who would buy it, including many who post here. What the OP is considering is akin to creating his/her own version. I haven't done the math, but maybe the cost comes out to something close to what some would pay for never having to wait in line. For example, maybe a couple who routinely pays $650 per night for a room at the GF and $50 per day for park admission would trade that for a $200 room at Port Orleans and $500 per day in park admissions with 20+ FP per day. Who are we to judge?

Apparently you think you can. I find it ironic that you "judge" me on my response, while stating "Who are we to judge?"

I didn't judge you. I pointed out that people have differing attitudes about their approaches to their vacations and others shouldn't accuse them of wasting their money or tell them that they shouldn't bother going to WDW. That is not judging. Were I to judge you, I would make a personal comment about you and your decision making. But I didn't and I won't.

You seem angry. Why do you care so much how someone else spends their money? I bet Disney would love it if they knew FP+ has caused a family to consider spending double on their tickets. The OP never said they hate it so much like you seem to think.

I think it's a waste too, but only because it's very expensive for 1-3 extra rides. If someone wants to do it, why would any of us care? I don't see the need for outrage.

Better idea: buy the extra ticket, let ME use it, and I'll stay near you all day and you can use my FP+ reservations (I'll get the ones you want, of course). Disney gets more money, you get double the fast passes, I get a free day at Disney.

Win-Win-Win!!!

This came up a few days ago in one of the longer threads. I think this would work and I think you would not even be breaking any WDW rules.

Oh, I'm sure it would count as "working the system" or "abuse" to some. ;) :goodvibes
