1.are there any closing cost to buy from disney
2.do they need any info up front for credit check
3.I live in maryland is the finance charge tax deductive.

I believe if you buy from Disney, they cover closing costs (at least they did when I bought)

If Disney is going to finance your purchase, they will need credit check information.

The interest you pay may be federal tax deductable, if you itemize. It depends on your particular tax situation. I do deduct mine.

1. There are no closing cost when purchasing from DVC.

2. When you decide to purchase they will send a huge packet of information for you to fill out. One piece of info is a credit report for a credit check.

3. Property taxes and interest on the loan from DVC are deductible on your federal taxes as long as you are not claiming more than 2 properties. There is a limit to how many pieces of property you can claim. Be careful if you borrow from someone other than DVC. The loan has to be considered some type of mortgage for deduction.
