Buying DVC AP for kids

We are flying down tomorrow and will be picking up our rental car at the Regal Sun tomorrow afternoon. Our 3 kids will be staying back at airport with the grandparents ( we don't check in until Sun), my DH and I would like to save some time and renew our DVC AP's and buy new ones for our kids while we are in DTD on Sat. Do our kids need to be there when we buy their passes? Just trying to save some time on Sun so we can get to the parks at opening and check in later. Thanks
