Buying dvc and booking july

Hi all
Was just wondering if I decide to buy into DVC now, what would the chance of getting a booking for July/August, bearing in mind that it will take approx 8-10 weeks for the sale to go through, by this time it will be late April/early May. I am looking at buying in AK or SS?

Booking that late your choices will be extremely limited.

You would probably only get SSR, OKW or AKL.

You may not be able to get all of your trip in one resort either.

You can call and inquire or check online. The minute you close do try to make your holiday plans. Be prepared to move your days around if you need to get the resort you want to stay at.

It also depends on if you are buying direct from Disney or a resale and have to wait for ROFR.
